GCC's Office of Community Education is pleased to offer a new
workshop "From the Ground Up: Heating & Cooling" with the Earth with
Paul Voiland of Deerfield Valley Heating and Cooling of Greenfield.
This is one of three single-night workshops for homeowners to help
educate them about the plethora of sustainable and renewable energy
options available to them. Learn how geothermal (heat pump) energy can
be used to heat and cool your residential or commercial building. The
workshop will provide an overview of geothermal principles and explore
financial costs and benefits, environmental issues, site analysis and
local providers of this fast-growing technology.
This workshop (CSW 421, sec. 2) will be offered at GCC's
convenient Downtown Center location on Thursday, February 7, from
6:30-8:30 pm. The cost is $15.00. To register, call 413-775-1803
