| NEW COALITION SEEKS GOOD JOBS IN TORNADO RESPONSES |

The Coalition advocates for local people to get jobs with good pay and benefits, doing work that the community needs, with solid long-term community benefits. Coalition members have attended Citizen Advisory Council meetings, are working with the Mayor's Office and the Regional Employment Board, and intend to meet with Rebuild Springfield leaders Gerald Hayes and Nicholas Fyntrilakis. Membership in the Coalition is still open. It has been formed by the following organizations: Arise for Social Justice Carpenters Local 108 Forest Park Community Development Corporation Massachusetts Senior Action Council McKnight Community Development Corporation Massachusetts Senior Action Council Western Mass Chapter Martin Luther King Jr Family Services Pioneer Valley Central Labor Council Pioneer Valley Project/Proyecto del Valle Pionero Rebuild Hill Homes Housing Cooperative United Auto Workers Local 2322 Universal Community Voices Eliminating Disparities Western Massachusetts Jobs with Justice Western Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety & Health The Coalition has open meetings every Friday at 11am at the Pioneer Valley Central Labor Council, 640 Page Boulevard, Springfield.
