at Smith Vocational & Agricultural High School in Northampton

- A series of five-minute presentations
- Informal discussion opportunity with presenters
- A simple meal will be served.

Sponsored by PVGrows and its Higher Education Working Group.

What are Lightning Talks?

Presentations about an effort or project made in five minutes from start to finish. No slide presentations, one background slide OK. Handouts OK.

Who Can Apply to Present?

Teachers, students, researchers, librarians, staff or community partners involved one way or another with a university or college in the Valley (Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin counties). We will select presentations to represent a variety of institutions and a diverse set of roles with particular emphasis on innovative, action-based projects.

What's the Purpose?

To create a stronger network of those involved in one of the Valley's premier sectors 'higher education' and involved in a variety of food-related topics. We hope to build a stronger community of interest which gives rise to new opportunities for learning, research and action.

How Do I Apply?

Please fill out the online application form at http://bit.ly/wX11IS by Friday, 2/24.
